Clever Layout Exhibited By Modern Day Apartment In Kiev, Ukraine

This modern apartment in Kiev, Ukraine was envisioned and developed by architect Irina Mayetnaya and Mikhail Golub. The apartment layout organizing was limited by all windows facing a single side of the developing. The goal was to create a modern day and functional apartment for a young family with young children, all within a total surface of 1,000 square feet (about 93 square meters).
One of the major challenges the designers had to overcome was making sure that enough all-natural light would make its way inside the apartment. 3 rooms have been as a result planned around the window wall: the primary living area, the children’s area and the workplace space. The latter was connected to the kitchen by way of floor to ceiling glass doors, an ingenious way permitting light to advance inside the residence. In this specific case, the kitchen becomes the center of the crib, the spot for all the family to get together. The sofa and dining table are nearby, each having a clever strategic position.
