BRIGHT COLOR KITCHEN
Kitchen designer Mick de Giulio created a kitchen with a retro feel in this Chicago home using yellow paint. The yellow paint, Benjamin Moore’s Stuart Gold, unifies both rooms, but also gives both the kitchen and the dining area a lot of energy. The walnut floors, hand-scraped changes a chevron pattern in the adjoining breakfast room.
COMFORTABLE, AIRY KITCHEN
Jodi Macklin, famous designer, choose a Cadeaux-Debe Stricklin Antiques table that makes reference to home’s location on the Delaware beach. It really looks cozy and comfortable, having that airy look, if you choose this design for your kitchen it will look like it is on clouds. Seating is a lacquer Anziano side chairs from Donghia an leather chairs by R. Jones. Pillow fabric is Victoria Hagan’s Horizon in Indigo.
PINK IS PERFECT FOR THIS KITCHEN
Krista Ewart created a summer vibe in her sister’s California cottage. In the kitchen, the curtains, wall art, and even the Smeg refrigerator from Sears are pink. It is little bit girly, but pink is a one of the colors from the spring palette and it will refresh your kitchen area, and for sure the female part of the house will be satisfied.
COLORS OF POP
Painting the interior of kitchen cabinets a contrasting color is something both architect Gil Schafer and, Eve Ashcraft, love to do. In this case the color is apple green and it gives a spring atmosphere to your kitchen.
