Designers from Brazil Humberto and Fernando Campana have completed their first hotel interior design.

Owner of YES! Hotels chain and international arts patron Dakis Joannou had commissioned the famous Brazilian duo, this project because of their very eco-sensitive ethos and unique use of contemporary handicraft practices and local idioms.
Wooden scraps in a jumble are decorating walls of the reception and restaurant. This design is so alike those that is used for the designer’s famous Favela Chairs. This pieces can be found in some of the bedrooms and they look stunning.
Symbols of Greek superstition and mythology are featuring the bedroom walls. In style of fairy-tale characters and glass eyeballs.
Bathrooms design contain faceted brass washbasins made to look like fragmented rocks.

The 79 room hotel is located on Filellinon Street, next to Constitution Square (Syntagma Square) and within walking distance of the main sights – the Roman ruins of Plaka, the Acropolis and its new museum, the stylish cafe and boutique shopping district of Kolonaki, and the business zone.
