Hope you all had a good weekend. Ours was busy but nice. Our house & garden tours went well in spite of the cooler temperatures. We had the fireplaces going and the wood stove so we all could warm up by a cozy fire.We had about 45 people from Japan between the 2 tours and I was happy to see their smiling faces!
On Friday we had our little granddaughters come for a visit.The girls ( Abby & Olivia) often like to dress up in some pretty dresses when they come.
We had our first frost of the season a few nights ago but this shot was taken in the garden a couple of years ago. It is one of my favorite autumn rose pictures.We have 25 visitors from Japan coming on Tuesday afternoon and it looks like a warm but wet day for us so we will have to dig out the umbrellas again. Ater this tour the season is over for another year. A little clip of our garden(and other points of interest on the Island) aired on the BS network in Japan a couple of weeks ago and it is interesting that some of our recent visitors have enjoyed seeing it. Hopefully, they all want to come visit us next year!!!
Some day soon I am going to spend a day taking photos just for you!
